"The painting depicts a summer landscape with a large meadow in the foreground, in the background you can see trees and a large tree on the left, whose deep shadow creates a great contrast with the brightness of the grass.

However, there is something mysterious and subtly disturbing in the atmosphere of the painting, so much so that it takes up all the space of the painting, so much so that the color is starting to melt and drip onto the canvas. This characteristic, also present in other paintings by Mauro, seems to suggest the presence of something powerful but invisible, giant but silent.
